Please contact Tony if you have any doubts over the installation of your boiler and we will try and cover the basics, as there seems to be a great deal of confusion in this area. Your supplier, or your installer must be CORGI registered. If you have oil boilers this should be done by an OFTEC registered engineer.
Your current boiler could be oversized as this was the trend in the past to install boilers which could heat your house more than adequately. This is measured in terms of radiators and hot water cylinders. As a result of this most boilers installed pre 1989 could be as much as 30% oversized. This is an incredible drain on finance as well as energy and these days boiler efficiency calculations are much more advanced. Gas Certificates
Landlords are required by law to carry annual checks on Gas appliances supplied by the landlord in tenanted accommodation. Tony can complete all the safety checks and will accurately record the findings on the Landlord/Homeowner Gas Safety Record, and supply certificates.
